Shift

I believe there’s a shift happening right now from defensive mode to offensive mode. The old way of thinking had us defending our God-given territory through anxiety and fear. Our opponent was already in our midst and we just spent our time deflecting his moves. We wasted so much time and energy being overwhelmed by his attacks that we were weighed down by our own armor. Our helmet of salvation, shield of faith and breastplate of righteousness defend us, but it’s now time to take the sword and go forth on offense.

I believe the Lord is saying it’s time to advance His kingdom through offensive strategies and game plans. It’s time to understand the enemy’s schemes and halt them in their tracks; it’s time we strike first. It starts with daily repentance, consecration, and a vertical identity check. How many times are we going to let Satan come into our territory before we realize we possess the sword of The Spirit, our offensive weapon? Enough of having to ward off the enemy, it’s time to step out BEFORE he does. It’s time when we walk into a room, the enemy runs away like the coward he is because of the power of the Holy Spirit in us. It’s time for us to work together, regardless of denomination, race, age or gender and advance the Kingdom of God through our authority in Him. By the power of His Word, it’s time for us to confuse the enemy’s plans before he can use them. It may look like he is winning in many areas, but let’s never forget who we serve. Let’s take the power we possess and expel it into the atmosphere around us so the enemy has no chance of success.

Dip your arrows in the blood of Jesus and send them forth on offense. The enemy stands no chance against a remnant that knows her authority.
